Simmons Establishes West Coast Office
In order to provide faster service to our North American West Coast customers, Simmons Machine Tool Corporation has established a service and sales office in Portland, Oregon.
Railway Interchange 2017
Simmons Machine Tool Corporation is attending Railway Interchange 2017, which takes place this September 17-20 in Indianapolis, Indiana. We will be talking railway wheel set maintenance equipment and automation systems at booth 2737 as part of Railway Supply Institute's exhibits.
Simmons' Jordan Munn Named As Examiner For 2017 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
The Commerce Department’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has named Jordan Munn, Manager of Quality & Process Improvement at Simmons Machine Tool Corporation in Albany, New York, to the Board of Examiners for the 2017 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The Baldrige Award is the nation’s highest honor for organizational innovation and performance excellence.
Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) 2017 Conference
Simmons Machine Tool Corporation will present "Wheel Set Maintenance: Integrated Measurement and Closed-Loop Systems" at the 2017 Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) Conference, which takes place June 5-8 at the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal. The InfoZone presentation covers the introduction of integrated measurement and its significance to wheel set maintenance processes. It also steps through how integrated measurement influences closed-loop systems in heavy maintenance facilities. We are a conference sponsor and have a table in the ExpoZone - so please stop by to say "hi" and talk about new projects.
