Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) 2020
Simmons Machine Tool Corporation is attending the 2020 Wheel Rail Interaction (WRI) Conference this August 31 - September 3 in Vancouver. On the first day of the Heavy Haul Seminar, Simmons President David William Davis and Product Manager – Wheel Truing and Reprofiling Machines Brandon Teal will present "Wheel Truing Technology Development and Innovation”.
Simmons Receives Largest Machine Order in Company History
Simmons Machine Tool Corporation is proud to announce a record machine order received early this year. The contract, which is valued at nearly $14 million dollars, is the single largest machine order in Simmons’ history.

Wheel Truing Innovation Paper Now Available
At the Railway Interchange 2019 event, Brandon Teal (Simmons Product Manager, Wheel Truing/Reprofiling) will present “Innovations in Wheel Set Profile Maintenance”. The presentation examines the history and function of wheel truing in the railway wheel set maintenance process as well as innovations to the technology, focusing on current changes and updates being made at Simmons to the Stanray® Wheel Truing Machine product line.
